The ETS–Trenton Central High School (TCHS) Scholarship Program recognizes and aids talented graduating seniors who have a desire to attend college. Recipients of this scholarship are those who can provide evidence of a high level of academic achievement, strong community engagement and demonstrated school leadership throughout their high school years. The scholarship provides financial aid to attend a two- or four-year accredited, not-for-profit postsecondary institution of the student’s choice. Recipients attending a two-year community college will receive $5,000 in two payments ($2,500 per semester), while those attending a four-year institution will receive $10,000 in two payments ($5,000 per semester). ETS will award a maximum of $30,000 in scholarships per academic year. The scholarship is renewable each year until graduation if the recipient maintains a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) by the end of the academic year and has no disciplinary infractions. It will be renewed for two or four consecutive years only — scholarship recipients are expected to graduate in two years if attending a two-year institution or in four years if attending a four-year institution.
